These were taken at AutoWerks in ’06 when the M3 was being painted. A Jeep Cherokee had tapped me ever so lightly in the license plate area, while in bumper to bumper traffic on the way to work. It was enough to require a new rear body panel (don’t know the name) and some fresh paint. This actually worked out well for two reasons.<\/p>\n
1. BMW E30’s tend to rust very easily around the license plate lights, so the new panel fixed that.
\n2. It was a perfect excuse to have the whold damn thing painted. <\/p>\n
The new Pearl White came out great, but you won’t see that in these pics. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
